Day 1: pick up from the airport

Itineraries
Day 1
Pick up from the airport
Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our representative. If you arrive early, you will bird the surrounding areas of Entebbe. Like the botanical gardens.
Check in to the hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
Birding at Mabamba wetland
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. After you move to mabamba wetland. It hosts birds like the shoebill, black egret, black crate among others. This will be done on a canoe.
In the afternoon, shall set off for lake Mburo national Park. Shall stopover at the Equator for the water experiments and photography, lunch. Then proceed to lake Mburo national Park. Arrive and check in at the lodge.
Day 3
Boat ride and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable
After early breakfast, you will have a boat ride on lake Mburo. You will spot water birds as well as Savannah species like yellow bullied duck, green hood hoope, pink backed pelican etc
After head for Bwindi Impenetrable and you will arrive in late evening. Check in to the lodge and then go for some birding at Ruhija where you will spot birds like short tailed warbler, green broadbill, blue headed sunbirds and more. Back to the lodge.
Day 4
Birding in Mubwindi swamp and transfer to buhoma
After breakfast, go birding in Mubwindi swamp and then transfer to Buhoma birding en-route at the neck. Some species you will see include the common buzzard, red tailed, cinnamon chested bee-eater, etc
Day 5
Birding in Buhoma sector and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, shall bird in Buhoma sector.
Then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive at the park and check in to your lodge and have some leisure time. Dinner and night stay.
Day 6
Birding in maramagambo forest
Wake up early morning and have breakfast. Will then do birding in maramagambo forest. You will spot birds like the great flamingo, papyrus gonolek, bat hawk, and more. See mammals like the giant elephants, pygmy antelopes and more.
After having lunch, you will have a boat ride along kazinga channel, you will see crocodiles, hippos. Shall as well continue birding at the ride.
Day 7
Transfer to Kibaale national Park
After the morning breakfast, embark on the journey to Kibaale forest national Park.
You will arrive in the afternoon check in to your lodge. Later head out birding in the bigodi wetland. Birds like the great blu turaco, parrots, cranes, red colubus and more. Return to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
Day 8
Birding Kibaale forest and transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, walk into Kibaale forest for birding. Some birds include crowned eagle, abbysinian ground thrush, little greenbul, black bee-eater and more.
Later return to the lodge check out and proceed to the airport.
End of trip.
